In the semifinals earlier on Saturday, Kong and Liu eliminated the only remaining European pairing of Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus and Croatian Zoran Primorac 21-16 9-21 21-18 24-22.
Wang and Yan made the final by ousting South Korea's Kim Taek-soo and Park Sang-joon 21-18 23-21 21-12.
