HK Star Athena Chu Promotes New Play

An epic TV play about the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, called Heroes in the War of Resistance Against Japan, was promoted Sunday afternoon at the Beijing Aerospace Museum. The scene was graced by the exciting presence of Hong Kong star Athena Chu, Zhu Yin in Mandarin, along with actors Nie Yuan and Zhang Jincheng and director Li Xiaojun. Athena Chu plays a modern day Boadicia fighting for justice and freedom. The story takes place against the backdrop of three Chinese families and one Japanese family. It mirrors the vicissitudes of life faced by three young couples during wartime. Athena Chu is famous not only for her beauty, but also her impressive performance in the universally known comedy film, A Chinese Odyssey.
