LOS ANGELES - Val Kilmer will appear in the psychological thriller "Moscow Zero" opposite Alicia Silverstone and Vincent Gallo, the project's producer said Saturday.
Kilmer ("Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang") will play the leader of a band of homeless people who dwell in the catacombs beneath Moscow. He has a former relationship with a fellow denizen (Silverstone). Gallo's character goes to Kilmer's chieftain for help in finding his friend, a fellow archaeologist.
The project is from Spain's Valentia Pictures, which announced Kilmer's casting at the annual American Film Market in Santa Monica. There is no North American distributor yet.
