Athens, Greece - The top-seeded pair of Ma Lin and Chen Qi gave China its second gold medal in table tennis of these Olympics, as they upended Ko Lai Chak and Li Ching of Hong Kong in six games. Ma and Chen won by scores of 11-6, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-5, to take the best-of-seven set, 4-2. On Friday, the Chinese duo of Wang Nan and Zhang Yining won the women's doubles gold. "Today's match was very difficult. The level of the competitors in table tennis increases year after year, so the matches are really tough.," said Chinese coach Liu Guoliang. In the men's bronze medal match, Finn Tugwell and Michael Maze of Denmark upended the Russian Pair of Alexei Smirnov and Dimitrij Mazunov in six games.
