Tony Randall leaves million-dollar estate

NEW YORK - Tony Randall, the Emmy Award-winning actor who died two months ago, left over $1 million to his wife and two children, according to his will, which was filed for probate in New York's Surrogate Court.Randall was 84 when he died in his sleep on May 17 from "complications from a prolonged illness". He left his entire estate to his wife, Heather, and their two children, Julia, aged 7, and Jefferson, aged 5. The will, filed for probate on July 8, was made public on Wednesday. In the document, the actor also bequeathed $50,000 each to the Actors Fund and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, both in Manhattan. Randall was best known for his Emmy-winning role as neatnik Felix Unger in TV's "The Odd Couple" based on the Neil Simon play. He also starred in several movies with Doris Day and Rock Hudson, including "Pillow Talk," "Lover Come Back" and "Send Me No Flowers." Reuters/VNU
